The Washington Times is reporting that according to the Saudi newspaper Al-Sharq al-Awsat, Iran has moved four battalions of troops to the Iraqi border. This doesn't seem to have anything to do with "readying troops to move into Iraq if U.S. troops pull out, leaving a security vacuum", since there is no indication that US troops will be leaving anytime soon and since four battalions really are not going to have much of an effect anyways. Most likely this has to do with the current issues that Iran is having with the IAEA.
The anniversary of the revolution is approaching, and this has usually been the time of a pickup in demonstrations against the government. Until we see what the result of these demonstrations are on the mullahs, it is unlikely that the US will do anything vis a vis the Iranian nuclear program.
