This year's list includes 36 organizations such as the International Atomic Energy Agency, in the 60th anniversary year of the atomic bombing of the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in World War II.I am guessing that President Bush, the person responsible for getting rid of one of the most violent tyrants of the century, is not on that list. For most of these "thinkers" anyone who wages war can not possibly bring peace. Yet, invading Iraq, Bush has done more for the possibility of peace and freedom in the Middle East than anyone else.
Also on this year's list are Indian spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Israeli nuclear whistleblower Mordechai Vanunu and Irish rock star Bono.
Anyway, given the recent recipients of the Nobel Peace Prize, Arafat, Carter, etc, I doubt that Bush would even want to be included in that company.
